Alright, based on your opinions, we won't be moving. Now let us say that ProBoards releases a feature in version five allowing us to move every post and member account to a different service. Would you guys be interested in moving then? Dats kool i'd be interested then

Wouldn't it also be cheaper for you to move to the new forum? Considering you won't have to pay ProBoards every year for the domain name with your payment for the domain name as it is? Or has that already been brought up?

Or has that already been brought up? You're correct, I wouldn't have to do that either. It's a very small fee though.

Leaving proboards is what killed Zanmato Designs.
Don't do it, people won't want to register again, and pretty much any host you buy won't be as good as proboards.
Besides, when proboards V5 comes out, it will be much easier to modify proboards.

Leaving proboards is what killed Zanmato Designs. Don't do it, people won't want to register again, and pretty much any host you buy won't be as good as proboards. Besides, when proboards V5 comes out, it will be much easier to modify proboards. Once again, this is assuming that everything from the current board was copied over. That includes accounts, posts, threads, profiles, etc. Zanmato's error was that they went for a complete change, and the only person who wanted it was the admin, and he didn't have enough to time to go through with building it back up. If all of their posts, members, and other things were moved over too, then the outcome would have more than likely been different. The idea of starting over is a lot more to swallow then simply posting somewhere else. As for ProBoards v5, the modifications still won't be anywhere near what we could do if we were able to get off of PB. Also, like I said before, if we moved, we would make our own forum system for it.

you could move to a new board, rther than purchasing credits and hosting proboards domains manually, at least I prefer that.
