Hello.... I am new here, surprise 'uh? Anyways, I thought it kind of me to introduce myself. I am Elyria, another surprise lol. Currently I am a freshmen in high school, and I own two show horses. One of my horses I have owned for five to six years and only has one eye - lost in freak accident -, his name is Kid. Kid is a red-dun quarter horse that I am taking to IBHA Internationals next year if we make the money. Sweet, no? And my other horse is a half-arabian, his name is Dover, and he is white. I just recently got him, so yeah. Anywhom, if you have any questions I guess you can ask.

Please explain to me what the "freak accident" was. And don't tell me it was struck by lighting. Oh and welcome to XD Designs.

Welcome to XD Designs. That's sad about the horse losing an eye. My mom used to own a cat with one eye. Her name was...wait for it...Winky. xD

Thank you y'all xD
Kid's freak accident? It wasn't getting struck by lightening, lmao. I wish No I am jokin, HAHA! Anywho, we had gone out to the barn one day and I had tied my horse to the stall like usual. So I did all the preperations yadda yadda yadda, but anywhom, I was going to put his bridle on. He had always had this thing were he would lower his head and cock his head to the side, so it made it difficult. But, on his stall he had this portable stall hooks. When he lowered his head, he caught his eyelid on one of the hooks. After slamming his head into mine, and then running out of the barn, I caught him only to stagger away freaked out of my mind. His eyelid was 'hamburgered', and we had to call a vet out. Four... freaking... hours... later... my trainer's vet came and the first thing he said is "I hope you know I am missing my dinner for this." I was so pissed. Anyways, lol, he did his thing and gave us a steriod that would have to be put into his eye and on the wound every morning and night. After a week, nothing happened until his eyes turned white, cloudy and white. It was scary. The next day we rushed him to MSU Veteranairy Clinic for Large Animals, where they told us he was going blind due to the medical attention he got. I wanted to sue, but no... After two surgeries they said they had to remove his eyes, and yep... It doesn't seem to affect him though. So every thing is all good. ;D
Side Note: That was mean Matt XD XD XD I agree with craziegraphix. lmao.
