While designing graphics, do you ever use free programs? Free programs I have, but don't use: - Terragen <-- Hard to learn lol - Paint.Net <-- I like it, but it's annoying at times. - MSPaint <-- Meh, still free. What about you? Why do you/don't you use them?

Yes and no. I use PhotoShop and GIMP 2. GIMP 2 is what I learned off of to make gfx, and still occasionaly use it (loads faster than PS, especially if I wanna save a screenie of somethin).
And technically MSPaint isn't free, because you gotta pay for Windows OS =P.

I don't use free programs because I have Photoshop CS2, which takes the use away from it for me.

I've used trial versions before and I use some free programs (paint and Gimp).

I have GIMP, just don't use it. Barely know how, though I did I use Paint Shop Pro X, which I bought. And PhotoshopCS2, which (my uncle) bought.
