Umm... adobe.com for the free trial for PhotoShop. google.com to look for cool stuff to download. You won't get very far if you rely on people on forums to give you the stuff you need to succede as a designer.

Oh... Thanks for the advice, ^_^. But I need somewhere to start, don't I? Lol. Asking people who design for links on good Photoshop downloads is where I thought I should start... =).

- Intel® Xeon™, Xeon Dual, Intel Centrino™, or Pentium® III or a 4 processor
- Microsoft® Windows® 2000 with Service Pack 4, or Windows XP with Service Pack 1 or 2
I feel kind of like a noob asking, but what are all these requirements?

It basically means most normal computers. There will be a sticker somewhere on your tower that will say the processor type. (Most computers will probably meet those requirements. ) If you have windows XP, don't worry about the second requirement.

To find out what processor you have: Start > Right-click on My Computer > Properties > Look at the bottom of the screen that comes up, it should say something about GHz, and maybe what your processor is (Celeron, Pentium, etc.). If you still can't find it, then download this: CPU-Z (you'll need either WinZip or WinRAR), and extract it to My Documents, and then go into the CPU-Z folder, and double click the icon that looks like a microchip. Click Run if a security brief comes up. In that screen, tell us what shows up on your screen, the items I've circled in red:

Not necesarily . I wasn't able to on my old computer, and my friend's second computer that he has downstairs has Windows XP on it, but the hardware in it isn't meant for very powerful programs. It's still an old computer =P. My point is, you can have the software needed, but not the hardware needed =P.

Yea, I know how that feels... I have a weird graphics card type. A lot of games can't be played because of it...

I don't think my computer has the hardware. My computer is a dinosaur.
