See, I got Photoshop CS2 from a friend. ;D But since I am a novice at graphics, I need help. I downloaded brushes, unzipped them, and put them in the brushes folder but they did not work. Also, I would really like to know how to make images glossy you know. It is just one of those simple things I don't know how to do. Animation too! I need some help with that.

For brushes in Photoshop, you don't have to move them to the brushes folder. You can leave them wherever you want on your computer. You just have to make Photoshop add them to your presets(either way). Edit>Preset Manager> Select brushes from the drop down, and click load. Locate your brush set, and you are good to go.
For glossy images, most people use the rectangular marquee tool, and select the area they want to make glossy, and fill it with white. Then they find a way to erase the white outside of the area that they put it, usually just by selecting the background layer, and inverting the selection. Then you lower the opacity of the white layer to something between one and thirty. There is probably a tutorial on how to do that in the Tutorials board. Glossy buttons, or something like that, shows you how to do it.

I made one animation tut, and its in the tutorials board. Animated Shine, I think it's called (something of that sort, anyway). Shows you how to make an animated shine.
