Much better than that other one! ;D I'm not big fan of the font you chose... check out: dafont.com and see if there's something better that you like. I recomend something whispy like the BG. I like the BG, but the render doesn't blend with it at all... Play around and try to blend it better. If you have PS, then you've got "blending options", "filters" and "brushes" at your disposal. Don't forget light sources and shadows. Experiment and find what fits your style. Overall: 5/10 because you can improve it even more still.

Okay, how is this. hmmm... not quite as good as the original... and the font is choppy... Try putting layers over the stock and messing with those to blend it. You can brush and smudge, or distort it with a filter and lower the opacity. ( This tut helped me learn how to blend my renders better. May'be it will help you. ) This is optional, but I think this font would best suit the sig. This time lower the opacity of the stroke so it's not choppy. You might want to try a differn't color stroke too... Also, make sure the font is blended or doesn't stick out too much. Hope that helps.

still looks like a copy and past, try useing different brushes and c4ds and stuff and just mess around with them untill it looks good. and also it looks like you sharpend her hair, and looks like you have 2 lighting sorces. Try and make your background a little more not so flat looking. Just keep it up, you should see some of my first siggs lol hmm might just have to post my most recent and one of my very first ones lol

For the c4ds, do you know a good place to find them. I always find ones that don't fit by background. EDIT: How does this look.

See the thing is, you have to make them. The render needs to be the same color as the bg, and so does everything else. If it isn't it just looks like you slapped a render on some random bg

Darn, I wish I knew how to do it on that one. Do I put it in a seperate thing, save it is a GIF once I have done it, then move it over.
