Glad to see you're using more than one color! But, basically the same as the Totodile one. You need to blend your render more. Right now, it's just sitting there. The text needs to be a lot smaller. It's too large, and takes up a lot of space. The other text, "Pikablu", is un-readable. Lol. Also, for borders, if you want a simple border, make a new layer, and name it border. Then hit ctrl + a, (selects the canvas), then right click, and click Stroke. Modify it how you want.

yeah, nice that you used more colors, but maybe try some othere kids of renders from like games and stuff. And just see what you can do. using the renders you have been useing might be kind of hard to blend cuase they dont have many colors.

Don't want this to sound mean, but you should really look at tutorials on XDD designs and on deviant art (searching photoshop tuts or tutorials or something) will be really useful. That is a pretty basic one, but it will teach you a lot of stuff. Make sure you do NOT follow the tutorial exactly, but keep it within the guidelines. For this one, you don't have to use the same render or colors... just follow the steps he says to use. If you do not know what to do for a step, you can PM me (or add aoeclald@yahoo.com to your MSN) and I will tell you ^_^Anywho, hope it helps. It should really open your eyes to a lot of the techniques we use.

I agree with what everyone said basically up there. But another thing I would strongly suggest is change the text anti-aliasing method so your text looks smoother.
Of course it depends on what program you're using to know how to change it.
