yeah looks great i like the effects in the cord itself and also where they end.The little bit of glow

I like it.
There's really only two problems with it I see... The glow where the cord connects to wherever is a bit off. You prob shouldn't have it glowing in the outermost part. Like it looks like you're going for a shine effect but it looks like a glow if you have it on the outermost part. (if that didnt make sense I could point out the specific area if you want lol). To fix it I would just use a mask on that layer to take the glow off of that one specific area.
Only other thing I see wrong is the shadow is way too dark. It would look more shadow-esque if you lowered the opacity a bit.
8.5/10 for what you were aiming for. ;D

Your talking about the blue-ish outerglow, right? That was a last second thing. I added it because I was trying to make it look like it was sucking power out of something but wasn't securely latched.
I agree, the shadow is too opaque, I'll make it more transparent next time.

Looks good. I'd change the black drop shadow to an outer glow though.
