In this tutorial I will be showing you how to make an image like this: In the Paint.Net program. Enjoy
Start off with a 400x100 canvas with a black background. Now, set White and black as your Primary and Secondary colors. Use the Gradient tool with the Reflected setting. Play around with it until you get something like this. Now use the Rectangular Select tool and select the top half of the image. Make sure your Primary color is white! Grab the paint bucket tool and fill the top half of the image with white. You should have something that looks like this. On the layers window, click on the white layers properties and set it's opacity level to 20 and click ok. You should now have this. Now, grab the text tool and add whatever text you want to. Your image should now look something like this. Now, duplicate that text layer and go to Layers>Flip>Vertically. Now move that layer down a bit so that the top tip of it is just touching the bottom of the original text layer. You should now have something like this. Now go to Layers> Layer Properties> And change the duplicated layers opacity level to 20. You should have something like this. We're almost done. Now take out your pencil tool and make a small border for your signature. That's it! You're finished! This is what I got.
Thanks for reading this tutorial

I actually use Adobe Photoshop. I wrote this tutorial while I was messing around with Paint.net, deciding whether it was as good as the GIMP or not.
