i found this program called 7-zip and its better then winzip plus its free!!!

WinRAR ftw.
It's free too, even though it says there's a 40-day limit (just gives you the nag screen when you open the program....meh, idc).

7-zip is mainly used for .7z files. If the zip file was zipped up with winrar of winzip then it may have trouble reading the zip file. I would just stick with WinRar or WinZip....

WinRAR > WinZip =P. Oh and Blu...just hit 'Esc' to get out of the nag screen on WinRAR...Or "find" yourself a corporate version that's already registered .
