Hey I'm new to graphics.....but I'm trying to make a cool signature and I'm trying to put in an image off of google into my project. (running on paint.net) And when i put the image in it has a white background when my projects background is black....when i use the magic wand it deletes a good portion of white but I'm left with these specks of white when I'm threw. Heres an example of whats happening: img46.imageshack.us/img46/9588/testws6.png

Magic wand = not something to render with. Either find pre-rendered images, have somebody render the images for you, or learn to use the pen tool (photoshop), path tool (GIMP), or w/e its called in Paint.net.

I'll try and download photoshop because I have no clue on how to use Gimp, thanks for the tip ;D EDIT: Yey, I downloaded the trial for paintshop cs3 and just painted in the background black and brushed around the image.... I then switched to paint.net and finalized the signature, heres the final product: img379.imageshack.us/img379/1408/newsiggy2vf9.png
