In XDD V4, will you disable right-clicking, etc, to help prevent users from ripping/ re-posting our graphics? (Same for tutorials.) I think it would be a nice gesture from XDD and would help users feel more comfortable posting their digital art here.

If someone really wants to steal your artwork, they can still do it. Even with right clicking disabled.
I'm also against right clicking because it stops some of the abilities of browsers. For example, in Firefox, you can right click on links and open them in new tabs. With right clicking disabled, you can't do that.
It would be nice to be able to completely stop ripping, but implementing a system with so many holes would be a bad choice, in my opinion.

There's always ways to get around it. Viewing the source code may take longer, but it can still bypass any code you implement in the website.
I also agree with the right-click thing, because you can open a new tab in IE7 the same way as FF, and when sites have right-click disabled, it's a little annoying (although, I now use the mouse wheel's push-button to open links in new tabs in IE7...much faster =). )

There are two very easy ways to get around that, though:
1. They could add &NOHEADERS=1 to the page they're trying to rip from.
2. They can disable javascript on their browsers.

I know this has absolutly nothing to do with the topic, but if you have a scroller on your mouse, if you click it down on a link, you can open that link in a new tab instead of right-clicking. Just thought I'd say something.

That's true, but that's like assuming everyone knows about F5 being the keyboard shortcut for refresh, and removing the refresh button from a browser.

We never said anything about agreeing to remove it o.O So why bring up that example? lol
We were saying that we agree that disabling right click can be more of a nuisance, but there are still ways to use browser functions when some parts of it are disabled =P.

If XDD didn't have right click I would die. Right clicking is my hero on designing forums.
